I contacted Grant at Mr Fix on Sunday night as my bathroom mixer tap would not switch off. He phoned me promptly the ensuing Monday morning and arranged to come out that very morning. We agreed a time and he arrived promptly.

He replaced the tap as agreed but in the process also corrected some plumbing from the original installation. He then advised there was a condensation issue with my pipework under the sink which with further investigation transpired to be a leaking joint, He proceeded to this right and then went on to double check and adjust the pressure on my combi gas boiler as I had mentioned there had been problems with it following the initial leaking tap.

I hope the in depth description above demonstrates how thorough and attentive to his customers Grant is. He takes the time to explain exactly what the fault is and how he is going to address it and it’s clear he really wants to provide his customers the best service out of professional pride and empathy for their situation. I contracted Grant once before in the past and knew it would be the a good decision to call him out again, I am glad I did as he tenaciously resolved all my issues without fuss, not stopping until I was satisfied with the result.

Grant was able to attend within half an hour and carried out the necessary work quickly and efficiently. He drained down the whole system, isolated the leaking radiator and re-filled the system. We were really pleased Grant was able to attend our emergency call out so quickly and would thoroughly recommend his services. We will certainly be using Grant for any future plumbing work.

10/10. Can’t give enough praise to the work done. I asked for replacement of 4 radiators, the work was done extremely professionally and in great time. Came out on an emergency call. Very prompt response. Quickly identified two leaks rather than one, and in a different place from where thought. Worked efficiently and thoroughly, explaining what work was required. Overall an excellent service. Grant was well equipped tool-wise to carry out whatever repairs were required.

Because of some major pipework in my house last year, I was worried that my outside tap had stopped producing water because it had somehow been cut off from the mains. Fortunately, Grant was able to diagnose the problem in double-quick time, and it was not serious. A small part needed replacing. He had one in his van, he put it in and hey presto! We called Grant back to fit a new kitchen tap for us (which he did very well) after he had completed a number of other jobs for us last year. Grant answered our call quickly to remove and replace the the leaking mixer tap in our kitchen sink. We had some untidy parts to our bathroom including a mouldy ceiling, visible pipes, a part of the wall missing from a previous vanity unit removal, a shower curtain that kept falling down, torn flooring and an unsealed end of the bath. Mr. Fix came in and took care of everything for us so it looked great again. He made custom boxing, repaired and repainted the ceiling and wall, fitted a new shower curtain rail and resealed the end of the bath. To finish it off, he fitted some new lino flooring. This was all done quickly and at a great price. Grant was easy to deal with and we would highly recommend him and his team.
